Acceptance
By using Spinness (spinness.com), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.
Use of tools
Spinness provides free entertainment and utility tools. You may use them for personal, educational, and commercial purposes. You may not use the site to violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.
Tool results are provided for entertainment and general use only. We do not guarantee the suitability of any random result for any specific purpose. Use your own judgment.
Intellectual property
The Spinness name, logo, and site design are our property. Tool output — random numbers, names, results — belongs to you. Pokemon names referenced in our tools are trademarks of Nintendo/Game Freak; we reference them descriptively, not as a claim of ownership.
Advertising
Spinness displays ads via Google AdSense and other networks. Do not click ads to support the site — click only ads that genuinely interest you. Incentivized ad clicks violate AdSense policy and may result in loss of service for everyone.
Disclaimer
Spinness is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on any tool output.
Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of Spinness after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use Spinness results commercially?
Yes. You generated the result — it belongs to you. A random team draw for a work project, a coin flip for a business decision, a random word for a creative brief — all fine. We do not claim any ownership over tool output. The Spinness name and design are ours; the results are yours.
Who owns the names I type into Wheel of Names?
You do. We never receive the names you type — they stay in your browser's localStorage and we have no access to them. If you share a wheel via URL, the names are encoded in the URL itself, not stored on our servers. Nothing you type into any Spinness tool is transmitted to us.
Can I embed Spinness tools on my website?
Not via iframe — we do not currently support embedding. The recommended approach is to link to the tool page directly. An embeddable script version is something we are considering for the future, particularly for the Wheel of Names and Team Generator.
What if a random result causes a problem?
Spinness tools are for entertainment and general use. If you are using a random result for something consequential — a legal draw, a competition with prizes, a formal selection process — you are responsible for ensuring your process meets any relevant requirements. We provide the tool, not the judgment about when and how to rely on it.
